Acupuncture

Acupuncture is the use of very fine, sterile needles, directed at specific points on the body to aid in pain reduction, reduce inflammation and improve organ dysfunction. When we break the skin or even apply pressure to specific meridian points, we can draw to action the immune system and the nervous system. By inserting the needles to these specific channels, we are creating micro-injury which can increase blood flow and healing by activating neurotransmitters such as serotonin and dopamine as well as other molecules including endorphins.
