What is chiropractic?

Chiropractic as a whole is focused primarily on restoring appropriate movement and function to the joints of the spinal column and limbs thus reducing inflammation, restoring appropriate blood flow and neurologic function. Chiropractic focus' on diagnosing and treating vertebral subluxation complexes. A vertebral subluxation complex is reduced motion within a joint, causing an alteration in the normal motion. This reduced motion results in cell change in the joint within hours to days. By applying a force to the region and restoring motion, the body is able to use its innate ability to heal and appropriate biomechanics can be restored.
